As our Senior Consultant/Manager – Banking Financial Risk, you'll work with clients in Financial Services to support the management and measurement of financial risks including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and climate risk. Engagements will vary and will commonly be centered around business initiatives spanning risk strategy, transformation, understanding regulatory requirements, and the development, validation, and use of models. You will work closely with other financial services risk practitioners, technology consulting, and financial accounting teams to support clients' often highly specific and complex requirements.
Support the delivery of financial risk engagements.Work with a highly driven team across a range of projects focused on risks that banks and other financial services companies are exposed to.Leverage your quantitative, statistical, or analytical skills to support model development and model validation engagements.
Responsibilities: Assist in delivering financial risk engagements.Collaborate with a highly driven team on various projects focused on risks faced by banks and other financial services companies.Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.Leverage your quantitative, statistical, or analytical skills, along with strong communication abilities, to support model development and validation engagements.Utilize and develop your quantitative, problem-solving, statistical, analytical, and communication skills through model development and validation engagements.Adopt a client-centric mindset.
What we're looking for For the senior consultant position, we are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. For the manager position, we require candidates to have at least 5 years of experience.Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen interest in financial risk and model implications.Confident and credible communication skills, both oral and written, with a collaborative problem-solving approach.Strong academic background including at least a Bachelor's degree (Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering) and professional qualification (e.g., FIAA, AIAA, CFA).Knowledge and experience in software development environments such as R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, or C++.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other MS Office products, with an eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge.An interest and willingness in coaching and fostering the development of more junior team members.
Ideally, You'll Also Have: Experience in consultancy or a client-facing role.A track record of business development and a strong professional network.
