Windows And Linux Server Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Windows and Linux Server Administrator to work within a dynamic team environment within a large Professional Services Company.
About the role The Windows and Linux Server Administrator is responsible for the configuration, management, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server operating systems.
This role involves ensuring server stability, security, and performance, as well as supporting various IT services and applications Skills & Experience Required Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server operating systems.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure server security and performance.
Manage server resources, including CPU, memory, and storage, to optimize performance.
Monitor server performance and availability using various tools and techniques.
Analyse and resolve performance issues and system bottlenecks.
Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Ensure server security by implementing and maintaining appropriate access controls and security policies.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Apply security patches and updates in a timely manner to protect against threats Please note this is an Intermediate level role paying circa $600 per day inclusive.
