Role Overview
Tesserent is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to provide assistance to the Tesserent Growth (sales) team, and prospective clients, concerning the technical components and delivery approach for Managed Security Services (including Cloud). The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant also acts as a liaison between the Tesserent Account Executives and internal delivery teams.
You will be collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and clients to build strong relationships, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences both technical and non-technical.
The role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney and requires the successful applicant to undergo an Australian Police check.
Accountabilities
Aid Tesserent Account Executives with technical solution and delivery approach pertaining to Managed Security Services. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to the Tesserent Account Executives, customers, and prospects. Interpret customer requirements; speak with customers or prospects to understand their needs and relay this information to the Sales Representative. Establish and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with Client's by using your in-depth consulting experienced and strategic account management expertise. Possess the ability to perform technical presentations that demonstrates how the Managed Security and Cloud Services can benefit and meet customer or prospect needs. Serve as liaison between internal delivery teams and the Tesserent Account Executives to gather technical expertise for supporting customer requests and major sales opportunities. Contribute technical solution specifications for a quote or proposal and prepare accompanying materials. Provide input to the creation and modification of existing and new security solutions and products for managed services. Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the security and managed service offerings of the company. Contribute to the management of sales through activities and opportunities in our CRM and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of the wider capabilities and services offering across the Tesserent Group to provide a multi-service engagement. Contribute to the development and sharing of knowledge across the Tesserent Group. Technical Skills
Ability to develop and deliver proposals and/or speaking material for public and/or private events. Security background, with previous experience in a technical/consulting security role. Proven track record in pre-sales and knowledge of cyber security. Maintain knowledge of industry insights and proactively research\ emerging security risks, controls, applicable regulations, and trends. Ability to develop, use and improve the company's methodologies to provide effective security and risk advice. Ability to articulate business outcomes including the implications and accurately calculate risks of findings in relation to the business goals of our clients.
