What's the role? We are currently looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Whyalla. The main focus of these roles will be helping keep our modern fleet of Prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with requirements.
What we are offering? Rates: $50-$54 per hour, flat rate + superannuation Roster: 4 days on / 3 days off Residential based role in Whyalla Specific Responsibilities: Carry out truck and trailer scheduled servicing, maintenance and inspections Maintain fleet paper trail on servicing, maintenance and repairs Carry out repairs/parts change outs as directed Attend fleet roadside breakdowns Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators Order parts using order numbers and listed suppliers Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services To be successful in this role, candidates must have: EBS, MT Data & Guardian DSSI experience advantageous but not necessary Experience working with Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment (highly regarded) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people Ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution Ability to work well within a team environment Company Benefits: Competitive Remuneration Ongoing development opportunities for career growth 'Refer a Friend' program – both parties will earn $500 each Constant modern fleet of Volvo Mack Prime Movers Committed to promoting workplace diversity Encouraging the next generation Committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees Qube Bulk provides complete mine to market and mine resupply solutions, offering mine, road, rail, storage, port and ship services.
