About the Opportunity Reporting to the WHSE Manager this role is known internally as a WHSE Systems and Governance Specialist and is responsible for the design and development of industry-leading WHSE frameworks, systems and processes to support delivery of the overall WHSE strategy. This role will lead all governance aspects of ASC's WHSE programs and initiatives, including but not limited to the ASC's Safety Critical Risk Program (supported by Operational Safety Risk (OSR) working groups). Additionally, this role will support the WHSE Manager in leading the continuous improvement effort from a data/dashboard reporting, process and system perspective in accordance with the WHSE strategy, along with advising and coaching the team to review WHSE workflows to ensure efficient and effective WHSE processes which are aligned to strategic WHSE outcomes.
This role is a Permanent full time position, based in Osborne, SA.
Responsibilities Design and develop industry-leading WHSE frameworks to assist in the delivery of the overall WHSE strategy. Develop sustainable library of WHSE content, tools and templates aligned to WHSE programs and review WHSE communications framework against best practice. Support operational execution with fit for purpose change management frameworks. Manage the WHSE System Advisory and Administration team. Maintain relationships with key management personnel and employees which assist in gaining a greater operational context and understanding of our organizational goals and how WHSE strategies can assist in the achievement of these goals. Represent WHSE team in risk and governance forums, including as the Deputy Chair of the OSRs in Support of our Safety Critical Risks Review and maintain processes to optimize the conduct of WHSE assurance activities in line with our Safety Critical Risk Program About you Relevant tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety management, environmental science, engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience, 2 of which in a senior systems role Superior comprehension of Work Health and Safety and Environment Legislation and application of relevant standards Significant experience in data analysis, workflow design and governance frameworks Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly MS Project and MS Excel) Strongly collaborative with a whole of team approach High level of integrity and resilience Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
