Whs & Wellbeing Project Officer

Duration: 6 months + possible extension
Location: Stirling + WFH
Pay Rate: $75.65p/h + super

Role Description
Working under direction, the WHS & Wellbeing Project Officer reports to the Senior Director Project Manager, Safe at School Project Management Office they will be responsible for:

• Working collaboratively with the EI&W team in the Work Health and Safety Team as the subject matter experts to finalise the Safety and Wellbeing Action plan as part of the Draft Psychosocial Safety and Wellbeing Framework.
• In collaboration with the EI&W team work with school leaders and Education Support Office (ESO) teams to develop the plans to support safety and wellbeing in alignment with the relevant legislation, frameworks, policy, procedures and templates.
• Developing and reviewing current procedures and practices related to Work Health and Safety and wellbeing and working closely with various SMEs to ensure alignment with related policies and procedures.
• Preparing briefs and reporting as required.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and staff at all levels, establishing proactive and cooperative relationships to progress projects as required.
• Working participatively within a small team, contributing to the Project Management Office, both as a team member and individually with limited supervision.
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate; and modelling the Public Service values and signature behaviours to create an environment that values and utilises the contribution of others.
