About the Role:
This is a fixed-site role, providing an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Senior WHS Coordinator on a large-scale project.
As the WHS Coordinator, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing workplace health and safety standards.
This role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their safety expertise under the mentorship of seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities: Manage the company's WHS system, ensuring compliance and efficiency.Maintain and organise all safety-related paperwork and documentation.Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and ensure adherence to protocols.Conduct safety inductions (online and occasional face-to-face sessions).Review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure they meet safety standards.Monitor site safety protocols and contractor performance.Carry out task observations and both weekly and monthly safety audits.Assist with internal and external WHS audits, supporting the Divisional Manager.Ensure compliance across site safety aspects, including tool, distribution board, and scaffold safety.Maintain and update site safety signage, safe egress, and boundaries.Safeguard public safety around construction activities.Ensure amenities meet code and regulation standards based on site worker numbers.Lead and participate in toolbox talks and high-risk workshops.Support site logistics, cleanliness, and organisation, including ramps and set-down areas.To be considered for this role: Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.Experience in Fit-Out OR construction safety, ideally on large projects.Skills or attributes, e.g., Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
