Permanent full-time position Based at Parramatta, January start Ongoing training and development opportunities How will I help? As a Fraud & Scams Officer, you will play a key role in preventing, detecting and responding to scams and fraud incidents conducted via online banking, telephone banking, over the counter transactions and mobile applications across all Westpac Group brands.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting customers who have been impacted by fraud/scams Promptly actioning fraud alerts Creating complete Fraud case files Providing a positive customer experience for inbound/outbound calls Identifying and recommending continuous improvement solutions These are full-time, permanent positions based at our Parramatta office and starting on Monday 13th January 2025. Our centre is operational 24/7; however, the core hours we are seeking will be Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm. We do require you to be flexible to work outside of these hours when required.
We will provide you with 4 weeks of full-time training Monday to Friday during business hours with ongoing training and support once you transition into your teams. Hybrid arrangements are available after the first 3-6 months.

What do I need? Experience in a Fraud & Scams/anti-crime environment High attention to detail with a curious and analytical mindset Experience and passion for providing a consistent and superior level of customer service Ability to navigate multiple banking systems across various platforms Knowledge of banking products and services Excellent customer service skills, with contact centre experience desirable What's it like to work there?
