Job Description Your new employer
Your new employer has been providing solutions for industrial property development and construction for 45 years.
This part of the business supports primarily the agriculture business from Shepparton providing a range of design & construct solutions for large-scale farming buildings and infrastructure.
Your new role
The Contract Administrator will report to the GM of Turnkey Projects and will be responsible for the management of all new and existing client contracts and will handle the day-to-day management of all associated matters relating to the scope of work, variations, and liaison with sales, engineering, procurement, and estimating teams.
Other responsibilities include:

Communicate project's scope of works and inclusions to project teams Prepare tender documentation for procurement of sub-contractors including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative tender analysis, and recommendations Foster and maintain strong relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers Assist Project Manager with progress claims Procure approved subcontracts and materials Manage and maintain project budget records Preparation of Head Contract variations Assessing subcontractor claims and variations Reporting on project budget status Use IMS forms to prepare project WHS documentation Put together WHS folder for site (sign-in, toolbox, pre-start) Sub-contractors on-boarding Issue progress claims Ensure timely deliveries from suppliers and alert Site Manager and Project Manager on impacts of changes on project timing Assist Project Manager with cash flows and forecasting
Your experience and Qualifications
To be successful you will need to have a strong background within the construction industry managing end-to-end contract issues.
Significant experience in a similar role Supportive team mentality Experience working in construction, civil or mechanical fields Really strong collaborative communication skills
