Exciting opportunities have arisen to join the West Gippsland Healthcare Group team in the Enrolled Nurse Graduate program for 2025.
Our 2025 program includes positions within Aged Care and Sub Acute and Acute settings, operating across West Gippsland Hospital and Andrews House (Trafalgar) where we offer interesting, challenging and well-supported opportunities throughout the Graduate Program. The initial areas of focus include Aged Care and Sub-Acute, with the potential for future opportunities in the Medical, Surgical, and Day Surgery units as part of subsequent rotations.
Our preferred candidates must have: Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Qualification in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115) Completion of HLT54115 studies during the 2024 academic year Not previously participated in a Graduate Nurse Program Be either a Victorian trained Nursing Graduate (citizen/permanent resident), a current Victorian resident or an Australian interstate-trained Nursing Graduate (citizen/permanent resident) Availability to commence the program on Monday 31st March 2025 About our organisation The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer-focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care and community health services to 45,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond. The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.

A cover letter addressed to the Continuing Education and Support Coordinator, Sonja Lavery. Please address the Key Selection Criteria within your cover letter. A Certified copy of your completed academic transcript. Two clinical referees - preferably from a recent adult acute care placement of two weeks or longer and one professional referee. Certified copies of two most recent clinical placement appraisals - at least one must be from an acute placement. If you are successful in gaining an interview, you will be contacted via phone with a follow-up email. If you have not been selected for an interview you will receive a letter via email.
