Graduate or Experienced Occupational Therapist Full-time State: ACT Job Status: Full Time IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury. Our care is tailored to each individual through workplace rehabilitation, counselling, injury prevention, or finding new employment. We work with our clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them live life to its fullest potential.
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Deakin ACT. We welcome new graduates to apply! Your duties will include:
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments. You'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Full Professional Registration with AHPRA Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded, but not mandatory; Excellent communication skills; Compassion and empathy; Strong time management skills; A current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance .
