Welding Foreman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Foreman to join our team. As a Welding Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and quality of welding projects.
You will lead a team of welders and ensure that all welding work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
This is a hands-on role, requiring strong technical skills as well as leadership abilities.
Responsibilities

Manage and supervise a team of welders, providing guidance and support as needed
Ensure that welding projects are completed on time and within budget
Inspect and assess welding work for quality and conformance to specifications
Develop and maintain welding schedules, assigning tasks to team members
Train and mentor new welders, ensuring that they understand and follow safety procedures
Troubleshoot welding equipment and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary
Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine welding requirements and specifications

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
In-depth knowledge of welding codes and standards
Strong understanding of welding equipment and tools
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and safety
Valid welding certifications (e.g., AWS) are preferred, but not required
