Due to their continued success, business growth, and focus on business development, along with their secured future workload, they are looking to grow their in-house estimating team with an Estimator.
About the role We are searching for a confident, industry-experienced individual who demonstrates the ability to work well within a structured, team-oriented culture.
The role will see you join our close-knit and team-oriented estimating team led by an experienced and approachable Manager.
You will be exposed to a varied array of different residential construction and renovation projects where your responsibilities will include:
Duties and Responsibilities Generating Expressions of Interest and checking and filing tender documents.Interpreting specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work for the projects.Measuring trade quantities take-off in Cubit.Requesting quotations from subcontractors and following up on quotes.Responding to RFIs.Understanding quotations and generating priced Bills of Quantities in Cubit.Preparing tender documents and setting up budgets. Skills and experience Tertiary qualification in a construction-related degree.3-5 years post-graduate estimating experience.High-end residential project experience up to $5M in value. #J-18808-Ljbffr
