Job Summary: We are seeking a Welding Coordinator to oversee our welding department's operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet our strict quality standards.

HOW THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTES TO THE TEAM: By: Conducting welding coordination tasks as detailed in ISO 14731, covering both Brisbane and Gladstone sites. Having the authority to sign on behalf of the organisation for all welding and welding activities that directly affect · Complying with Quality, Safety and Environmental Management policies · Conducting internal audit on welding quality controls as detailed in AS/NZS ISO 3438.2 · Facilitating external audits for AS/NZS ISO 3834.2 · Reviewing and analysing opportunity requirements, Opportunity Review · Conducting Technical Reviews · Identifying and nominating non-destructive testing and weld acceptance requirements · Developing and approving Heat Treatment plans · Ensuring welding procedure database is current · Ensuring welding procedures meet customer requirements · Ensuring welder qualifications are current and meet customer requirements · Approving company welding procedure specifications · Ensuring welding plant and associated equipment is maintained and in calibration · Optimising welding resources, ensuring maximum efficiency · Managing welding and welding related non-conformances · Facilitating non-compliance resolution · Developing detailed welding and inspection plans for manufacture or repair items · Providing detailed weld mapping and weld sequencing · Providing technical assistance to Business Development and Sales teams · Mentoring Welding Supervisors and Inspection personnel · Assessing and monitoring suppliers and sub-contractors · Ensuring effective traceability records are maintained, meeting customer requirements · Ensuring quality records are keep and maintained as required · Ensuring activities are performed in accordance with legislative requirements and Berg Engineering's policies and procedures.
