The Opportunity: We are currently seeking experienced welders and labourers for roles based in Pinkenba for immediate starts Where you will be working: A leading Australian manufacturer in garage doors and roller shuttersNationally recognised Australia wideProducts built using a variety of steel with modern machinery and technologyThis role will be based in the warehouse as part of the production process. About the role: Day shift available working Monday to FridayDays starting from 6am-2:30pm Monday - Thursday, 6am-12pm Friday$32.50 - $35 per hour (dependant on qualifications and prior skills) Benefits: Opportunities for permanency for the right candidateShorter days on Fridays, finish by midday and have the weekends freeImmediate starts and multiple vacanciesSupport and assistance from FHR throughout Duties: Welding and Fabrication: Use various welding techniques (MIG) to join metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper for manufacturing purposesBlueprint Reading: Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately complete welding tasks.Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment during welding operations.Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reduce downtime.Quality Control: Perform inspections and tests to verify weld quality, ensuring that the work meets industry standards and project specifications.
