This position is located in our Melbourne Keysborough Workshop.
What will your typical day look like? Welding of mild steel (mig), stainless steel (mig/tig), aluminum (tig).Perform Fitting and Turning duties, including turning, milling, drilling and jig making.Fabricate, repair and certify components to engineering and Australian standard requirements.Perform assembly, disassembly, testing and quality checks.Contribute to a safe and environmentally sensitive work environment.What do we want to know about you? Certificate 3 in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Welding) or similarExperience in welding Pantographs and exposure to Cold Saws preferred.Ability to read and understand drawings.We are a 2024 Circle Back Initiative Employer – we commit to respond to every applicant.
