Full-Time Welder Location: Moolap, Victoria Salary: AUD 70,000 - AUD 80,000 Superannuation per annum About Us: Fireweld is a leading provider of specialized welding services for the fire protection industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Class Welder to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. Position Summary: As a Full-Time Welder, you will be responsible for performing complex welding tasks on a variety of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire hydrants, and fire alarms. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications Set up and operate various welding equipment, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding machines Perform complex welding tasks, such as joining pipes, fittings, and valves Inspect welds for quality and defects Maintain and clean welding equipment Adhere to safety standards and regulations Qualifications and Skills: Trade certificate in Welding or relevant study Minimum 2 years of experience in welding Strong knowledge of welding techniques and processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Excellent attention to detail and quality control Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team Application Started: 24/10/2024 Application Deadline: 23/11/2024
