WELDER We are seeking a welder based in Forrestfield to join our client, a company specializing in the land-based exploration industry, particularly in the design, construction, and maintenance of drilling rigs and related equipment.
Location: Forrestfield Monday to Friday $50 an hour flat rate Temp to Perm role Job duties: Perform all phases of fabrication, including marking out, tacking, welding, and finishing to a high standard.
Interpret engineering drawings to complete assigned tasks accurately.
Fabricate and weld rig bases and masts using .9 hard wire.
Operate various machine tools and hand tools throughout the manufacturing process.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Adapt to and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Requirements: Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings.
Cert AS1554.1 is a MUST Strong team player with the desire to contribute collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
