Job DescriptionRiverina Water Engineering (RWE) is seeking a Welder based in our Griffith branch.The successful applicant will carry out the welding and fabrication of irrigation systems and repair equipment for RWE and customers.Duties include:Carry out general welding and fabrication of piping systems, pump frames and floating suctions in accordance with design plans/manufacturers instructions, as directed by the supervisor.Conduct repairs/service equipment for both internal/external customers, as directed by supervisor.Undertake installation of new and fabricated components along with the associated pipework and equipment.Carry out general welding duties which include the use of MIG & TIG, Oxy/Acetylene cutting, grinding.Work collaboratively with supervisors, team members, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and interested stakeholders to achieve project standards, budgets and agreed time frames.Lead by example, role model high level communication and ensure a practical approach to quality and safety.Benefits and perksWe offer:Supportive team environment.Additional training and career prospects.Prosperous regional living and work/life balance with limited travel.Become part of a group of companies that promotes and sustains a community co-operative approach for our customers, providing the highest level of service and commitment.Skills and experienceThe successful candidate will have:Certificate IV in Engineering – Metal Fabrication.Stainless steel welding and/or boiler making qualifications.National License to Perform High Risk Work – LF (to be obtained on job, if not current).Applicants must provide a current resume and covering letter stating how you have demonstrated the tasks and responsibilities of the role to Sally O'Keeffe at ****** now open.
