Our client, Green Steel Pty Ltd t/a Northwire Australia is a 100% Australian family owned and operated business.
They are one of Australia's largest manufacturers of Wire Fencing Products including, Chainwire, Barbed Wire, Hinge Joint and Recoiled Line & Tie Wire.
They are also a significant Wholesaler of Steel & Rural Products.
Northwire continues to experience significant growth, as such requires the service of Fabricator's/Welder's for immediate start.
Duties will include, but not limited to: • Fabricate and weld new metal products, typically gates and rural related products in compliance with all applicable standards and safety performance • Fabricate & weld various components, examine work pieces for defects and conduct QA on all finished components • Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard • Maintain a clean and safe working station • Ability to work in a team environment with peers Skills and Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent • Trade Qualification or the ability to demonstrate competency in basic welding techniques • Ability to read and comprehend product data sheets, spec sheets and working drawings • Familiarity with welding equipment and workshop safety protocols • Sound attention to detail • Ability to receive and follow instructions as required Salary Range-$73,150-$76,000 AUD/annum Summary of role requirements: • Flexible hours available • More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role • Working rights required for this role Please submit your application using reference WFNORTHWIRE
