Welder Fabricator Livestock Marketing Centre

Welders with metal fabrication experience are sought for permanent and casual positions at the Livestock Marketing Centre. Key responsibilities include repairing and maintaining infrastructure and site facilities, with a 38-hour week and one rostered day off per month. Ongoing training and development opportunities are available. A Class C driver's license, Construction Induction Training Card, and relevant work experience are required. Vaccination for Q-fever is also necessary. Applications will be accepted until 29 September 2024, with interviews to be held in the week commencing 8 October 2024. A competitive remuneration package is offered, including superannuation. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the LMC team to undertake quality repairs, fabrication, and maintenance. The role requires motivation, a willingness to learn, and participation in an on-call roster. The successful applicant will be responsible for working collaboratively within the LMC Team to undertake quality repairs, fabrication, and maintenance to the LMC infrastructure and site. They will also be responsible for participating in ongoing training and development opportunities. The successful applicant will be required to be vaccinated for Q-fever and will be asked to provide evidence of this.
