Heavy Diesel Fitters

Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services) Full time FMR Investments is seeking motivated Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our mine's maintenance team working both underground and open pit mines.
We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, determined, and able to prioritise tasks.
They should have a positive attitude and follow safe work practices.
Trade certification required Dual Trade (HD Fitter/Auto-Electrician) advantageous Opportunity for dual trade apprenticeships for the right person.
Preferred candidates reside locally to the Goldfields and within Western Australia (but open to Eastern States Applicants) Previous mine site experience required, experience with Cat and Sandvik preferred Roles and Responsibilities: Carry out preventative and general maintenance, and timely repairs Provide operational knowledge and practical application to minimize downtime Assisting in the training and mentoring of apprentices and trainees All successful applicants require a National Police Clearance and the ability to pass a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
Candidates must also have a legal right to work in Australia to be considered.
