Weekend Supervisor

McEvoy Mitchell Racing is a leading Thoroughbred Racing Stable with state-of-the-art facilities in Ballarat, Victoria.
We are currently seeking a Weekend Supervisor for our busy stable, located in Miners Rest, Victoria.
This role would include Saturday afternoons 11:00am to 5:00pm, Sunday mornings 5:30am to 10:30am and Sunday afternoons 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
Duties include: All aspects of horse husbandry Daily exercising, swimming & treadmill operations Correct and timely making of feeds Administering treatments and maintaining daily vet diary Reporting horses leaving feed, injuries, farrier needs and anything else required.
Overseeing the shift and assist with staff management, including diffusing situations if required.
Set a positive example for safe behaviours and practices in all aspects of horse management.

The right candidate will lead by example and take pride in ensuring the shifts are run to a high standard.
