We are looking for a dedicated professional with hands-on experience in water, sewer, plumbing, or a related field who's ready to make an impact in compliance and environmental stewardship.You will thrive in this role if you're a skilled communicator with a knack for negotiation and conflict resolution, enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and have strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities. Your ability to monitor compliance, implement actions, and leverage technology will set you up for success.On a typical day, this role will:Lead, develop, support, and grow our Utilities Compliance Team under the corporate values, overseeing performance and driving achievement of KPIs.Manage, monitor, and review resourcing and priorities to ensure that compliance team deliverables are met and tasks completed.Coordinate the management of the trade waste register and other relevant water and wastewater compliance databases.Provide guidance to the broader team and customers in the implementation of programs, policies, standards, practices, and systems as they relate to water, wastewater, and trade waste compliance.Inform and assess trade waste, development, and other applications as relating to water and wastewater compliance.Remuneration and BenefitsEmployment Type: Full time, Permanent, 35 hours per week.Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $91,569 to $103,016 depending on skills and experience.This role also qualifies for a Leaseback or Vehicle allowance.Flexible work arrangements - hybrid working and flexi-time.Discounted gym membership through membership to Fitness Passport.Annual salary increase as per the Local Government (State) Award 2023 plus annual salary review.Long service leave after 5 years.Generous employee assistance program.Salary packaging options available through Salary Packaging Australia and Maxxia.Recognition through our annual awards ceremony celebrating and rewarding staff achievements.About the Port Macquarie Hastings RegionThe region is one of Australia's most enviable locations.
