Our client Aqwest is located in Bunbury and is going through a period of growth with a number of exciting new projects commencing.
They supply water to more than 35,000 customers in the Greater Bunbury area and are committed to providing sustainable, high-quality drinking water that consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.
The Role Our client currently is looking for a Water Quality and Operations Specialist who is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of water production through effective monitoring and operational practices.
This role involves:
Collaborating with various teams to optimise water operations from source to consumer;Monitoring the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of water production and distribution systems;Evaluating the performance of water systems to identify areas where resources can be used more effectively;Implementation of initiatives and projects aimed at improving water quality operational efficiencies;Providing technical input for the design, planning, and implementation of works, and contributing to staff training programs;Operational and compliance reporting and monitoring;Procurement and management of contracting partnerships and strategies;Provision of leadership and technical support to teams.The Candidate In order to be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant qualification or equivalent operational experience, in particular completion or study towards a Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations;Complex document writing skills.The OfferThis is a permanent position located in Bunbury in a supportive and friendly team environment.
