The Water Utilities team at Central Highlands Regional Council are seeking experienced Water Industry Operators for multiple positions in various locations throughout Central Highlands.
As a Water Industry Operator, you will play a key role in a team that ensures the safe and uninterrupted water supply to our communities.
You will be responsible for conducting water testing, chemical dosing and undertaking maintenance tasks across our various water assets including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and reservoirs.
You will also complete quality monitoring and reporting, identify and report failures, assist with job planning and complete safety risk assessments.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: Sound knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant operations planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Positive attitude with the ability to work autonomously & within a team.
Minimum of Queensland C class provisional manual drivers' licence.
General Construction Induction Card.
Cert III Water Industry Operations with a minimum of 1 year experience in the water industry Willingness and ability to undertake working at heights, breathing apparatus and confined space training.
