Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions. The corporation generates, transmits, and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We are looking for a Water Demand Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established water efficiency team dedicated to advancing water efficiency across Darwin and remote communities in the Northern Territory. As a Water Data Analyst, you'll manage and analyse water use data, helping to design and report on impactful programs that drive real water savings. You'll take the lead on digital metering projects, develop customer-focused solutions, and ensure data integrity and quality across all initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our Water Efficiency Portfolio while delivering insights that directly contribute to sustainable water management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and analyse water use data.
Design and report on impactful programs for water savings.
Lead digital metering projects and develop customer-focused solutions.
Ensure data integrity and quality across initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong background in data analysis and managing large datasets.
Proficiency in statistical evaluation, data visualisation tools, and dashboard creation.
Strong communication skills to translate technical data into plain English for diverse stakeholders.
Expertise in data governance and quality assurance.
A collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Equally important to expertise in water and sustainability, the successful candidate will be driven by a passion for fostering a strong, collaborative team culture.
