Waste Excavation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable individual to join our team as a Waste Excavator Operator. In this role, you will play a vital part in operating our excavator and completing associated tasks, while also being willing to lend a hand with various duties within our waste facility as needed. To excel in this position, it is essential that you possess the physical capabilities to effectively perform the duties of the role, as well as possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
You will operate a 22 tonne excavator to:
Construct landfill cell clay wallsSpread waste and cover active tipping areasConstruct and maintain stormwater and leachate systems including diversion bunds and tableRequirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
Strong physical capabilities to effectively perform the duties of the roleExcellent communication skillsA willingness to work in a team environment
