The Opportunity As a Waste Administration & Finance Officer in the City of Perth, you will provide project, financial management and administrative support to the Waste and Cleaning team and ensures the provision of high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers.
Reporting to the Waste and Cleaning Manager within our Operations team, your responsibilities would primarily include: Actively obtain relevant information, creatively identify solutions to problems, resiliently respond to correspondence received via shared inboxes, and manage correspondence registers for the team; Autonomously capture robust data for the updating and management of databases and associated administrative; Maintain nominated operating budgets related to the City's waste and cleaning services; and Foster, advocate and implement the City's Customer Service Charter.
About You To succeed in this role, you will possess: Demonstrated experience in researching, analysing, summarising and actioning general administrative and financial matters; Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve; Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce moderately complex correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations; and Autonomous ability to effectively organise as well as adapt own time and workload to meet deadlines despite conflicting priorities.
