Reporting into the Operations Manager you will partner with the Franchise and Functional Leaders within Smith & Nephew Australia, to guide the supply chain improvement activities with a focus on process optimization, Lean Deployment programs (5S, 6 Sigma), and new supply chain technological design & adoption for excellence activities for the company. You will be responsible for implementation of standardized operating procedures, continuous improvement programs for the ops teams and monitoring of progress in these areas.
What will you be doing? Collaborate with the Supply chain leads and process owners to identify and drive functional process improvements. Recruit, develop and lead your team to ensure full utilisation of people and engagement. Lead, develop and oversee transformational projects across the Branch. Custodian of Training for local teams and working with regional teams, ensuring alignment in processes at all times. Lead compliance by ensuring technical work procedures and documents are up to date and accurate. What will you need to be successful? Tertiary qualifications in a related subject areas. Previous experience in a warehouse management role with strong people leadership Strong Financial acumen SAP background in operations and medical devices Strong understanding of Lean or 5S methodology Live the values of Care, Collaboration + Courage.
