Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader We have a great opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader in our company in the Transport and Warehouse industry, based in Somerton. 
As our Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse operations including receiving, storage, packing, inventory management, order fulfilment, distribution and dispatch while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
The Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader will lead a team of dedicated warehouse staff, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires a hands-on approach, have excellent organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, must have experience in Warehouse Management System –(WMS) and be able to train staff
Key tasks for this position include:
· Manage workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-training to optimize efficiency of staff
· Organising the receipt of customer products
· Ensure all products are put away in the appropriate racking system
· Organising & Scheduling of customer orders
· Ensuring all orders are packed and fulfilled as per invoice
· Maintaining a high level of quality control by ensuring damaged or defective products, or incorrect items are identified and corrected before consignment
· Collaborate with the transport team for seamless logistics operations
· Supervising of staff and their daily activities
· Must have a Forklift License
· Computer experience is essential
· Lead by example, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement
· Monitor and report on key operational metrics (KPIs) to senior management
· Good communicator
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
· Maximize space utilization and maintain inventory accuracy.
To be considered for the position you will have the following:
· Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in working in a fast-paced environment and preferable in a 3PL environment or in a similar position.
· Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
· Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
