As a result of a restructure owing to the retirement of a key staff member who has been with us for over 35 years, we are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. About the role: The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for;
the management and day-to-day operations of our warehouse, inventory control, space management, logistics, shipping and customer services.warehouse activities of our operations to ensure the efficient utilisation of warehouse facilities for storage of raw materials and/or finished goods, stock take compliance, stock rotation.ensuring compliance by all suppliers, delivery personal to all OH&s laws relating to warehouse and site safety.liaising with freight providers ensuring goods (whether incoming or outgoing) meet all scheduled and quality requirements.developing and implement new stock management control proceduresproviding effective warehouse co-ordination in line with daily operations; implementing and maintaining compliance in all warehouse operations in line with all applicable regulatory and customer standards eg TGA, HACCP, Organic, Halaal, etc;attend production and other meetings as required;ensuring all company policies and procedures, ie operational and work instructions, OH&S, GMP, Food safety, PPE are adhered to;reporting requirements such as non-conformance as required;management of pallet stocks as required; andthe willingness to assist at busy/quiet times with production support.This is a full-time position and is an integral part of the company and will involve close liaison with team members across all of our business and production units. This role is perfect for someone who can ensure the warehouse runs at peak proficiency, ensuring that customer satisfaction is our number priority.

Selection Criteria To be successful in the role you will need:
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role;Qualifications and/or experience in warehousing, transport or a related discipline is desirable;Education or experience in 'Lean Manufacturing' desirable;Current forklift licence;Stock control experience;Strong communication skills – written and verbal;Ability to manage competing tasks under pressure;Customer centric, with a can-do attitude;Knowledge of systems such as SAP is an advantage, but not necessary (as long as you are willing to learn) and the Microsoft suite; andAttention to detail and an ability to problem solve.A brief covering letter outlining your experience together with a full resume should be submitted by 12 noon (AEST) 7 November 2024.
