About you: You are a self-disciplined, versatile, and dedicated Storeperson who is eager to learn a lot of new things and collaborate closely with our Warehouse Manager. You will play a key role in the logistics of the Eventpower Solutions workshop, managing equipment and inventory to ensure a smooth workflow for all employees.
This is a full-time position based at our Port Melbourne headquarters. Due to the nature of the industry, you must be willing to occasionally work outside standard business hours, including some evenings.
Key Responsibilities: Coordination and rollout of equipment: Assist the Warehouse Manager with picking customer orders, loading/unloading of vehicles. Check in and out of gear. Assist in daily dispatch of hire equipment. Help the Warehouse Manager to run the logistics surrounding the daily movement of the workshop.Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory and Job Management System records. Take initiative to regularly check stocks and report any discrepancies or low stock levels to the Warehouse Manager.Heavy Duty Material Handling: Safely handle and un/load materials and heavy duty gear within the warehouse. Ensure that all items are stored properly to prevent damage or loss. Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and equipment within the warehouse. Adhere to safety protocols for forklift operation.Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and tidy. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks as needed. Daily housekeeping within the warehouse including cleaning and OH&S requirements.Job Requirements Forklift ticket Physically fit for manual handling Desired Skills & Qualities Test and Tag Ticket / Construction White Card / Working at Heights Ticket: preferred but not essential. Previous experience in electrical fitting is an advantage.Experience in equipment inventory systems and logistics including warehousing computer systems is an advantage.
