THE ROLE The Warehouse Sorting Assistant will sort clothing and Bric-A-Brac to supply the BSL Opportunity Stores. The role involves:
Sorting and separating incoming goods including removal of rubbish and hard goods.Sorting different categories of donated goods.Preparing and packing orders for retail stores.Loading and unloading trucks as required.ABOUT THE BROTHERHOOD OF ST LAURENCE We are passionate about the work we do. To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we're looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
Previous Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.Knowledge and ability to identify brand names, quality items and vintage wear.An understanding of opportunity shops, recycling sustainable fashion practices and circular fashion.Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment to achieve objectives.CULTURE BSL employees enjoy a range of flexible work options and other attractive benefits.
