As the Warehouse Manager at Chefgood, you'll oversee all inventory and inbound and outbound activities, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy.
You'll play an integral part in the operations behind creating our delicious meals, collaborating closely with the Supply Chain, Production, and Finance teams to drive efficiency, implement inventory strategies, and ensure seamless daily operations in the Warehouse.
Based at our food production facility in Keysborough, you'll also be responsible for fostering a safe work environment and developing your team to support our mission of delivering fresh, tasty meals to our customers.
Your Role Manage inventory accuracy by ensuring optimal stock levels and conducting inventory audits in collaboration with procurement and other departments. Lead goods receivable and dispatch, ensuring temperature control, compliance with inventory standards, and dispatch accuracy. Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimisation and implementing best practices in warehouse operations. Develop and manage the team by overseeing day-to-day staff management, ensuring efficiency, supporting career growth, and contributing to workforce planning. Promote safety by leading health and safety reporting, identifying safety concerns in the warehouse, and fostering a safety-first culture through leading by example. This is you Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a similar industry. Proven experience in managing teams and improving inventory accuracy and efficiency. Some knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP or similar. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A collaborative leader with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
