They are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to lead the team!
Reporting to the GM Supply Chain Operations, the focus of this role is to oversee Warehouse and Logistics operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant management of goods. Lead teams in effective unloading, storage, and distribution, aligning with company and legislative standards.
Key AccountabilitiesHealth & Safety: Foster a zero-harm culture, manage risks, conduct safety assessments, and lead root cause analyses for incident prevention.Strategy: Support Group Operations Strategy, develop productivity solutions, drive a cost-effective warehouse model, and align with industry best practices.Operations: Develop a sustainable warehouse model, meet financial targets, implement SOPs, and ensure inventory accuracy.Quality: Lead quality management, conduct root cause analysis, and uphold housekeeping standards.Cost Management: Control labor and overtime costs, communicate cost impacts, and enhance business acumen on the floor.Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean principles, eliminate waste, and drive process innovation.Delivery: Monitor delivery KPIs, ensure staffing levels, and pursue efficiency gains.People Management: Lead recruitment, performance management, and team development, foster a collaborative environment, and support employee negotiations.Qualifications & SkillsDegree in Business, Logistics, or Front Line Supervisory qualifications equivalent to AQF Level IV3+ years managing large teamsWMS expertise (5+ years), MS Office skills, change management experienceStrong analytical, communication, and leadership abilitiesKnowledge of ISO certificationValues & CompetenciesCustomer-centric, results-driven, effective communicator, and team collaborator. Demonstrates trust, courage, and future-focused leadership to support company goals.
