TRG Transport Solutions, a locally owned and operated South Australian business is one of Australia's leading transport companies, driven by innovation, timeliness and outstanding customer service. The company has continued to grow since its initial inception in 1994 and today are one of South Australia's largest wharf carriers. 
Based in our Wingfield depot, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Transport Coordinator/Fleet Controller, to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing customer requests through our freight management system and prioritising and allocating resources to ensure efficiencies and 'on time every time' deliveries to our customers.
Some of your key responsibilities will include;
Liaising with and providing high quality customer service to TRG customers and staff.Forecasting transport requirementsBooking and maintaining time slotsPre-planning and organisation of wharf and container park bookingsProactively check and maintain cut offs and deadlinesAssisting, when required, with the scheduling / allocating of drivers and subcontractors to ensure productivity and operating efficiencies.Drive performance of processes through effective and efficient planning.Ensuring job details are conveyed to drivers precisely and efficiently.Ensuring that all jobs are recorded, and general data entry is processed correctlyWork with the supervisors in order to sustain and drive efficiencies and cohesion between all areas.Complete compliance and operational checks.About you;
Proven experience within shipping, freight forwarding or wharf transport or similar. Ability to manage and cope with high volumes of tasks simultaneously for extended periods of time.Remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Process orientated person, with a demonstrated high level of resilience. High level of computer literacy and excel. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and time management skills.A reliable, punctual and committed person that encourages great culture. A team player who is willing to support their colleagues and the wider business. Benefits;
