About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the team in our flagship Kewdale Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will provide effective leadership and management of the Warehouse staff driven by an inclusive culture bringing out the best in staff and stakeholders. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong planning and analytical skills, and ability to lead and work within a team. You will also have the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities and be able to communicate effectively.
Duties: Monitor employee performance, coach, identify and develop team members Promote strong business relations through regular communication with internal and external stakeholders Effective management of the warehouse team, ensuring high levels of productivity, customer service & safety Effective management of all warehouse functions including inventory Identify, develop and promote continuous improvement culture and implement improved processes in consult with the Branch Manager Drive KPI's in your team Strong commitment to health, safety and leadership This is a hands-on role and will require the successful applicant to have strong knowledge of all Warehouse processes and be able to assist the team where and when required.
What you'll need to succeed: You will have proven experience in warehouse management/supervisory role Be a natural leader with strong communication and organisational skills, have a mindset for continuous improvement and be comfortable in a management position to interact effectively with all levels of workforce and key stakeholders both internal and external Experience working with integrated systems & extensive MS Office programs will be valuable in fulfilling your responsibilities You will be highly motivated and results driven with a strong customer focus Hold current Forklift licence and be safety focussed (desirable) About ATOM ATOM is a leading industrial hardware and safety equipment supplier with over 40 years' experience providing expert knowledge and assistance to the Mining & Civil, Oil & Gas, Government, Electrical, Maintenance Repair & Operations, Commercial, Construction, Infrastructure and Engineering industries.
