An opportunity currently exists for a Warehouse Manager based at our Wingfield SA Distribution Centre, on a permanent full time basis.
The purpose of this role is to manage all Warehousing & Distribution functions for the Wingfield Supply Chain environment, in accordance with company/legislative policy and safe work procedures.
Key accountabilities include:
Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted in line with Allied Pinnacle processes.
Ensure physical control of inventory is in place and all inventory related policies are adhered to.
Ensure inventory at each of these locations are maintained including cycle counts, recording, receipt and dispatch functions.
Ensure warehouse errors such as inventory accuracy, picking errors and damages are minimised or eliminated.
Manage the material handling equipment pooling (CHEP and LOSCAM) accounts.
Development, application & compliance of Workplace Health & Safety including Chain of Responsibility procedures & policies.
Ensure the site is maintained aligned with the Allied Pinnacle GMP policy.
Ensuring timely investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
Actively participating with business continuous improvement initiatives & development of innovative solutions.
Ensure safety stock and lead times are set up to support manufacturing and distribution while minimising / eliminating any obsolete material.
Manage staff including rosters, training, development and support.
The successful applicant will possess:
High level skills in MS Office and experience in D365 or other related ERP systems.
Interpersonal skills to interface with customer service, manufacturing and external logistics providers.
5 years' experience in supply chain area and people management.
Experience in FMCG or Logistics industry.
Understanding of transport industry safety legislation both Federal and State.
Experience in dealing with complex multi site transport coordination.
A good understanding of pallet pooling systems.
Able to communicate with managers and operatives at all levels and across organisation.
Sound planning, organisational and decision making skills.
Self managed, motivated and energetic.
