This newly created position is required to manage our export warehouse facility for both Dairy and Meat. An excellent salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.This role would ideally be suited to a talented warehouse manager with a passion for logistics, a keen eye for detail and drive to innovate. Your role would include but not limited to leading and working with other key operational staff to initiate, implement and optimise our warehousing facility.Reporting to the FMCG Manager, you would be responsible for:Managing an 8,000 square meter facility comprising Ambient, Chilled and Frozen storage.Export and management of Dairy and Meat including meeting all AQIS / DAFF requirements and documentation upkeep.Efficient (de) stuffing of containers and trailers and management of container crews.Export warehouse operations including MiCor, Country Specific Requirements and export documentation.Cross dock customers and product.Leading the warehouse team to ensure performance targets are achieved.Warehouse optimisation.Management of WMS systems.Fostering a safety culture with adherence to all company safety requirements and protocols.Improving the Customer Value Proposition.Development and delivery of sustainable change at operational level.Driving improved performance and productivity by delivering strategic solutions.General and domestic warehouse operations including FIFO, UBDs, cycle counts, etc.Skills / Qualification required for the role:Export experience in meat to overseas markets.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset – identifying and delivering improvement opportunities.Qualifications in management, logistics or another related field.High degree of computer literacy including the Microsoft Office Suite, Warehouse Management Systems and the ability to learn new programs.Previous experience working with Warehousing and FMCG operations including export.Collaborative management style and high stakeholder engagement.Ability to make balanced decisions based on best practice.Accountable and outcome focused.Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain (Desirable).The successful applicant would also be required to undergo a pre-employment medical.If you have the suitable skills and attributes we are seeking for this exciting new role or have worked in a similar role please apply via Seek by uploading your resume and a cover letter highlighting your experience.
