About the roleDRA Operations are currently seeking a Warehouse & Infrastructure Coordinator to join our core team on site in Central Queensland.
This position will be offered on Fixed Term Max Term (September 2025) contract and you will work a 5:2:4:3 Roster.
You will be provided with flights to site from Townsville or Rockhampton with camp accommodation whilst on site.
Whilst Rockhampton and Townsville are our primary FIFO hubs we encourage applicants from all regional Queensland communities to apply.
As Warehouse & Infrastructure Coordinator, you will be an integral part of DRA Operations site management team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring warehouse and logistics deliverables are achieved.
This includes coordination with the Maintenance and Operations departments to meet operational needs.
You will be responsible to the leadership and supervisors of a small team of direct reports including stores persons and cleaners.
Key DutiesCollaborate with Site Maintenance/Operations to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and budget constraints.Manage stores ensuring appropriate supply levels are held and adjusted as required with project requirements.Coordinate between procurement, transportation, and warehousing to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials in accordance with approved schedule.Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and correspondence.Prepare and issue reports on procurement activities, including expenditures, savings, and performance metrics, and provide timely updates to project stakeholders on contract and procurement milestones.Oversee that infrastructure cleaning is performed and meets adequate standards.Arrange for essential site services such as sewerage removal, potable water delivery, weed control, and waste management to maintain site functionality.About youOur ideal candidate is a positive and safety-conscious team player with a strong work ethic who possesses the following:
Previous experience in Warehouse management, Logistics Coordination, or a related role within a similar industry.Technical certification related to logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management - Desirable.Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.Proven experience in managing a team, providing guidance, and delegating tasks effectively to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.Strong focus on safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.Demonstrated ability to hold team members accountable to ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks and objectives.Computer literacy with intermediate expertise in Microsoft Office including Excel.Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System.
DRA will provide training in site-specific software.Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11.Valid Australian Drivers License.Valid Right to Work in Australia.Please note, that as part of our recruitment process you will be required to complete a police clearance, Functional Capacity Evaluation, and drug and alcohol screen.
