CREATIVE INGREDIENTS Who are we? Since its founding in 1994, Creative Ingredients has proudly provided premium, high-quality ingredients to Australia's Bakery, Gelato and Patisserie makers. Based in Melbourne and staffed by a close-knit team of 19, we are entering a pivotal stage of growth due to increased demand of our products.
This is an exciting new chapter for Creative Ingredients where our legacy of artisanal quality meets bold and national ambitions. With over 30 years in the business, we have strong relationships with International and Local suppliers.
Due to our expanding business, we are actively seeking a Warehouse Assistant / Store-person to join our team and support the business.
About the Role? The Warehouse Assistant / Store-person will play a pivotal role in our warehouse operations ensuring responsibility for the efficient handling of products and materials, ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and meets our team and customer needs.
Day to day, may include any of the following tasks:
Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods and productsPicking, packing, and preparing orders for deliveryMaintaining accurate inventory records, stock receipting and replenishmentEnsure cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, adhering to food safety standardsOperating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts Collaborating with team members to optimise workflow Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucksDelivering stock to our customers on an as needed basis in our company vehicle
The successful person will:
Be reliable, positive and demonstrate punctuality at all timesHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsLike to go above and beyond for our team and ultimately our customersPossess a good sense of humour and love our ingredients!Have the ability to multitask and have a passion for food and the food industryHave previous experience in warehousing Why work for us?
