About the role:
The successful applicant will be working with a highly skilled and dedicated wardsperson operations team that prioritises the safety and wellbeing of all patients, visitors, and staff members. You will have the opportunity to contribute to maintaining an efficient and safe environment by implementing effective measures, conducting proactive wardsperson practices, and promptly responding to any incidents or emergencies. As a Wardsperson, you will play an important role in patient care by assisting with patient hygiene, transport of patients to wards, theatre and imaging as required by wheelchair or bed, and the movement of supplies and equipment within various departments within the hospital.
All training and education required to support the needs of this position will be made available to the successful applicant.

How we will support you:
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated training officer to guide them through the initial phase of their training. They will also have access to the Wardsperson Operations Team and Senior Wardspersons for support and guidance. Continuous assessment tasks will be conducted to monitor progress and ensure ongoing professional development.
