Ward Clerk Job no: 880193 Work type: Part time Location: Eyre and Western Categories: Administration and Clerical Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, Port Lincoln Health Service Salary:  $58,709 - $63,154 p.a (pro rata) - ASO2 Temporary Part Time (more than one position available) Join Our Team at Port Lincoln Health Service Port Lincoln Health Service is seeking a proactive and organised Ward Clerks to join our team.
As a Ward Clerk, you will provide essential administrative support to nursing staff and help maintain patient continuity of care in theatre, TQEH, visiting specialist, wards and ED.
Key Responsibilities: Provision of general reception and administrative duties within the Ward/Clinic/Unit area.
Facilitate communication within the ward/unit/clinic and with other healthcare services as required.
Preparation of Medical records on admission and finalising the same on discharge Maintenance of records, including filing, and statistics as required within the ward/clinic/unit.
Organise inpatient and outpatient appointments as requested by Nursing employees.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery.

Port Lincoln Hospital is the largest hospital in the Eyre and Far North region, with 48 beds, and provides a range of services including Emergency, obstetrics/maternity, surgical, general medicine, renal dialysis, medium level chemotherapy, pharmacy, dental and Allied Health.
Situated in a beautiful coastal location, Port Lincoln Hospital is one of four rural general hospitals in South Australia, and has a range of clinical specialties along with a large and stable workforce.
