We are seeking an experienced Ward Clerk on a full time and Casual basis to support one of our busy Medical Units. We pride ourselves on working with talented, passionate and caring people to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care and experience during their stay with us.As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:Providing patient-centred customer service.Welcoming and assisting patients, visitors and staff ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.Answering phone calls and handling inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.Maintaining accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records.Liaising with medical staff.Liaison with other areas of the hospital.Experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility/hospital.Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments.Good computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).A track record of providing great service and customer experience.Strong interpersonal communication.Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.Benefits on offer:Free Parking.Discounted gym memberships including Fitness Passport.Create and manage profiles for future opportunities.
