We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship, focusing on the design, preparation, and installation of ceramic tiles on walls and floors in both new buildings and renovation projects.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and qualified Wall and Floor Tiler to join our dynamic team.
As a key part of our operations, you will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, bringing your expertise in laying ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles to create protective and decorative finishes in bathrooms.Key Responsibilities:Tile Installation: Lay ceramic, porcelain, slate, marble, and glass tiles on walls and floors, ensuring precision in alignment and spacing for a professional finish.Surface Preparation: Examine plans, measure, and mark surfaces, preparing walls and floors by removing old tiles, grout, adhesives, filling cracks, and cleaning surfaces for optimal tile adhesion.Adhesive Application: Spread adhesives onto surfaces and set tiles securely in position.Tile Cutting: Use cutting tools to shape tiles to fit around edges, corners, and obstacles such as pipes and fittings.Grouting & Finishing: Grout tiles and remove excess grout to ensure a smooth, finished surface.Waterproofing: Apply waterproofing systems to ensure longevity and protection in wet areas.Quality Control: Ensure all tiles are aligned, properly spaced, and adhere to design specifications, while creating a polished and visually pleasing finish.Required Skills & Experience:Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.Attention to Detail: Strong eye for precision and quality workmanship.Technical Skills: Ability to operate tile-cutting tools, spread adhesives, and perform surface preparation.Problem-Solving: Ability to manage complex installations, including creating falls for drainage and working around fixtures and pipes.Job Benefits:Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (hours may vary based on project requirements).Salary: Competitive annual salary between $73,150 - $80,000, including 4 weeks of paid annual leave.Company Vehicle: Fully maintained company vehicle provided for travel to and from job sites.Tools & Equipment: All necessary tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied by the company.Superannuation: Employer contributions made in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.Work Environment: Supportive team environment with the opportunity to further develop your skills.Qualifications:2-3 years of relevant tiling experience required.Valid driver's licenceWork visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.Application Information:Expected Start Date: ImmediateWork Location: Primarily on-site at various locations in the Bunbury region and surrounding areas.
