Successful applicants would ideally have experience in quality, high volume venues and possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in the hospitality industry in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of food, beverages, and wine.Excellent guest service skills.A passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience.Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills along with sound decision making.Flexibility & availability over a 7-day rotating roster; including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.Available to work nights and weekends.Hold a valid RSA.Confidently able to run a section.Ability to prioritize, work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Have a curiosity to learn and grow. The Role Emme is searching for Waiters at varying levels of experience to join our team. As a Waiter you will deliver an exceptional guest experience, by guiding them through our fresh produce-driven menu and extensive wine list. You will need proven passion and experience in restaurants, with wine knowledge being desirable. Most of all we are looking for someone who's passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences.
The Responsibility Welcoming and seating guests.Taking food and beverage orders and delivering these orders to guests.Delivery of exceptional and professional guest service, ensuring all guests receive the high standard of service required, at all times.Thorough understanding of all available food and beverage menu items.Thorough understanding of the order or service, and execution in a timely and accurate manner to achieve superior service delivery.Ability to manage a given section during service periods.Ensure excellent standard of cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant.Following all procedures, systems and checklist.Exceptional personal presentation.Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
