About the Role We are seeking a driven and experienced Strategic Quality Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the Quality Management and Safeguarding Framework, ensuring services align with the highest industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
You will also lead the clinical governance of the organisation, managing risk, restrictive practices, and complex cases.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Management and Safeguarding Framework.Develop, review, and update organisational policies to ensure they reflect current legislation, sector best practices, and regulatory requirements.Chair the Safety, Risk, and Audit Committee to address organisational risks and ensure compliance.Oversee restrictive practice compliance as Chair of the Restrictive Practice Review Panel, ensuring ethical and legal use of these practices.Engage in complex case conferencing and support the assessment and intake of new clients, ensuring thorough risk management.Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.Provide strategic leadership to drive quality, safety, and compliance across youth and disability services.About You Proven experience in clinical governance, quality assurance, and risk management within the disability or youth services sector.Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF), and safeguarding protocols.Ability to lead and mentor staff, driving continuous improvement and best practices across teams.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across various levels of an organisation.Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Health, Nursing, or a related field are highly desirable.What We Offer At MADEC, we believe in providing a rewarding work environment that values each individual's contribution.
