The Opportunity
Redlands by the Retirement Resort is a close-knit retirement living community, set on maintained grounds and features a beautifully restored Queenslander. Our small hospitality team is growing and we are looking for fun and friendly Food & Beverage staff to join our team to deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents! You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. Our Food & Beverage team staff complete a wide range of front-of-house and back-of-house tasks where you will enjoy connecting with residents dining in our restaurant, but also enjoy spending time in the kitchen completing some food prep! This is a casual position assisting our team to fill shifts as needed. Most shifts will be from Saturday to Tuesday, however, weekday availability is a bonus too! All shifts are usually between the hours of 9am-7pm. What we offer $32.32 including casual loading + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation A great place to start or further your hospitality career! The opportunity to pick up shifts at neighbouring communities (such as our Ormiston and Cleveland locations) be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community You will Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents during lunch or dinner service times Assist in the daily preparation of meals Assist with the delivery of food & beverages Assist with morning teas, afternoon teas and happy hours Complete the setup and pack down of the restaurant Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up) What you'll bring A friendly and warm persona with a passion for building relationships and chatting with residents! Experience in a fast-paced hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded) Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!) Minimum of two (2) C O V I D-19 Vaccinations (required) Who we are
