About the Role We are seeking a motivated Volunteer Management Support Officer with a "can-do" attitude who can work independently and prioritise tasks, providing high level support to Volunteer Brigade, Groups and Units (BGU's) within the Upper Great Southern Region.
The Volunteer Management Support Officer position provides management, administrative, and logistical support to BGU leaders, DFES Managers and Local Governments to assist them in maintaining administrative and operational readiness and to comply with governance and statutory requirements.
The Volunteer Management Support Officer, under direction from the Superintendent, also supports BGUs promotional, communications, community, recruitment and retention activities by providing logistical and stakeholder relations support.
Employment Conditions and Additional Information DFES is an emergency services organisation and all employees may be required to work or travel outside of normal business hours to assist with emergencies.
